The foot of the Erongo Mountains

The foot of the Erongo Mountains is the place where you can find the Ameib Guesthouse. Ameib means “The Green Place” and as lovely as it sounds, it is a beloved holiday destination and nature paradise. Ameib Guesthouse not only offers accommodation in the Guesthouse itself, but also at the nearby camping site. If you don’t want to spend the night, you can visit to explore the walking trails and attractions around the guesthouse. As Ameib is located in pure nature, you can stop-over on your way to or from the coast to relax and leave all your troubles from the city behind. View the breath-taking sunset or get lost within the beauty of nature and experience the Erongo Mountains in Ameib.

Accommodation:

Ameib Guesthouse consists of 9 old farm style rooms. 7 are double/twin rooms (en-suite bathroom) one is a four bed family room (en-suite bathroom) and one is a single room. Most rooms have a verandah. Moreover there are three Bungalows with en-suite bathrooms which are more private and overlook a big dam.

The camping site, close to the guesthouse has two cabins and it is fenced off against wild animals and big trees offer shade. The cabins are double/twin bed and have en-suite bathroom as well as a barbecue area.
