Overlooking the Walvis Bay lagoon, Egumbo Lodge
is an elegant Colonial lodge offering exclusive accommodation in nine
rooms. Guests can enjoy wines from the selectively stocked cellar,
heated swimming pool, Wi-Fi access, and central heating throughout the
premises.
The
lodge is a delight for bird-watchers, with a multitude of migratory sea
birds feeding only metres away. Leisure and sports activities such as
kayaking, marine cruises, 4x4 desert tours or quad biking can also be
arranged on request.
It also serves as the perfect base from which to explore the central areas of the Skeleton Coast including Swakopmund, Sandwhich Harbour, Cape Cross. Egumbo is a local word meaning 'home'.
